Lulus Patisserie: A Gastronomic Paradise in Sapanca

The other day, on the way back from a holiday in Sapanca, we passed through a street with lots of willow trees. To sum up the street, there is plenty of greenery, almost all the houses are villas, and like American houses they have a long frontage between the road and the house. There are countless parks and resting areas along the road. We had the chance to stop by Lulus Patisserie on Bağdat Caddesi, which I think is the most beautiful street in Turkey. Lulus Patisserie is a place everyone passing through Sapanca should visit. They have many options like croissants, breakfast, bread, drinks, and desserts.

The biggest thing that sets it apart from other places is the quality of the ingredients. You cannot find a product here with bad ingredients. It has a stylish and intimate atmosphere. All the staff serve with a smile.

Their prices are very reasonable compared to Istanbul. To have a dessert or drink here with this level of quality in Istanbul, you have to pay at least 2 to 3 times more.

Lulus Patisserie’s menu has a variety that will please both classic dessert lovers and those looking for something new. It has a wide range, from elegant examples of French pastry to Italian desserts, from local flavors to modern dessert interpretations. Especially croissants, fresh fruit tarts, and custom cakes are among the most popular items in the place. They also have vegan and gluten free options.

My favorite food here was the focaccia Italian salami sandwich. With fresh arugula, Ezine cheese, pesto sauce, dried tomatoes, and very high quality Italian salami, it is both filling and a product whose taste stays with you for a long time.

The coffee and drinks served with the desserts also complete the quality of Lulus Patisserie. The coffees, made from carefully selected coffee beans, are prepared by expert baristas. For tea lovers, there is a wide tea menu. Special herbal teas and flavored drinks go perfectly with the desserts.

Lulus Patisserie places great importance on customer satisfaction. Its staff are smiling and warm, ready to meet every need of the guests. The owner and chef of the place closely follows every detail, from the preparation of the desserts to their presentation, and cares about getting feedback by communicating directly with guests.

For me, the best part of this place is that there are no strange people. It is a great place to go with family and friends.
